Theater celebrates communal togetherness, satisfying our human need for social interaction and sense of self-worth, particularly in challenging times. HTY offers a wide range of programs, presentations and resources for educators, students and families that can be used both in class and at home.  During the conference visit, HTY teaching artist and artistic staff will demonstrate and share activities, experiences and resources HTY uses and makes available to promote community building through: 1) individual creativity, 2) group interaction, 3) inclusive practices, and 4) cultivating supportive relationships. Such experiences provide educators with easy to implement and engaging strategies that build community and support quality education standards and child development.
